Diction offers a service where audio recordings and video soundtracks are converted to text. We specialize primarily in Danish and English transcription solutions, but we also offer transcription in other languages, such as Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, French, and Icelandic. We can deliver your ready-to-use text file as a simple text document (.txt) or as timed subtitles (.srt) for video.
Get subtitles for your video
Whether you represent an organization that needs subtitles for training, advertising, or educational videos, or a company that needs subtitles for an advertisement, interview, or lecture, we have a solution for you. For subtitles, we can provide softcode subtitles, where you get an SRT-formatted secondary file. The subtitles are added to the video, but you can remove and reinsert them yourself. Another option is to get hardcode subtitles, where the subtitles are a permanent part of the video clip.

Please note that in automated transcription, the software may have difficulty recognizing laughter, coughing, and direct speech. Punctuation can also be a challenge, especially when someone is asking questions.

On weekdays, we deliver the file with automatic transcription on the same day the order is placed. For manual transcription, the delivery time is usually at least 2–4 business days. If you contact us in advance and let us know your transcription needs, we can shorten the delivery time.
